Inspiring Resources by Marcus Orlovsky
This is a collection of interviews with successful people at all stages in careers.
A great deal of the work I do with students is to give them a glimpse of futures. This involves planning a day where we ask and persuade really interesting people to each host a one hour meeting with 12 or so students their own places of work. In that hour, many conversations about what they do, how they got to the where they are and some really general thoughts and advice.
For the last year I have have snatched a few moments of their time and recorded their thoughts on a number of areas, mostly with them giving advice to the students and I recorded those interviews to share with those students a month or so afterwards.
The resource base is one which is worth sharing more widely. I will continue to add more and more as I meet more people. Feel free to give any advice as to what is helpful: every month I meet at least 20 more people.
