Roman History For Sleep
🏛️ Roman History for Sleep
Welcome to Roman History for Sleep, where ancient legends are retold slowly, softly, and faithfully — by the firelight of memory.
Here, we follow the story of Rome from its mythical beginnings — Aeneas fleeing the ashes of Troy, the founding of Lavinium, the rise of Alba Longa, and the birth of Romulus and Remus — all the way through the long centuries of the Republic and Empire.
Each episode is written and narrated in a calm, sleep-friendly style — blending history, myth, and gentle humor to help you drift into the world of the ancients. No music, no distractions, only the sound of the story and the soft crackle of a fireplace.
We use the Roman names of the gods — Jupiter, Venus, Mars — because these are the voices of Rome’s own traditions. The faces are the same as in Greek myth, only seen through the eyes of Italy.
So dim the lights, settle by the fire, and let the stories of Rome unfold — slowly, peacefully, as they once did beneath marble skies.
