Davies, Craig Pty Ltd
How did a small Australian company grow to become the world leaders in our field?
The answer is simple - innovation.
The ability to create new solutions to problems & a commitment to technology, service & quality, has made Davies, Craig one of Australia's most successful exporters, providing high airflow automotive Electric Fans, Electric Water Pumps & Digital Controllers & switches to markets around the world.
In 1971, belt-driven fans were the only option for automotive cooling. Searching for a more efficient method, Australian engineers Daryl Davies & Bill Craig created the Thermatic Fan which has now become a standard feature on most of the world's new cars.
In the mid 1990’s, we investigate the next frontier of electronic conversion, & the concept of the Electric Water Pump (EWP) was born. On the 1st July 1999, the first Electric Water Pump was released to the world, the EWP80. Major Manufacturers have since implemented EWP’s as standard issue on a number of their vehicles.
