over-the-hill ultra

I started running in 2023 after getting into the Chicago Marathon lottery. My dad, who passed away from cancer in 2021, ran Chicago when I was a kid, and it made him seem superhuman. I wanted to feel that connection again. While training, I discovered ultrarunning through YouTube—and was hooked. Before even running a marathon, I ran a 47-mile ultra in Scotland during a family trip. Since then, I’ve finished races like Badwater Cape Fear 51.4, Mt. Mitchell Heartbreaker 50, Tsali 50K, Hellbender 100, Chicago Marathon, and the Bigfoot 200. I started this channel to document my journey, remember the moments that matter, and maybe help others along the way—just like YouTube helped me. Whether you're into ultras, new to running, or curious about gear or races, I hope you find something useful (or fun) here.
