Hello 👋 My name is Vy and I make videos about pursuing an education and career in Medical Sciences 🔬 I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Medical Science (Computational Biology) at the University of Oxford, looking specifically at characterising prematurity in gut development using single cell and spatial transcriptomics technology 💻 Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant in genome engineering of mouse embryonic stem cells at Cambridge (academic lab spun out to a biotech company) 👩🏻‍🔬 And before that, I did my BSc and MSc at Imperial College London 🎓Science aside, I really enjoy all things creative arts - binging drama series, dancing, reading, cooking and more 🎨 This channel is also a place for me to document the little joys in my every day life and some of my travel adventures 🌎
