Dragonfly Art Book Reviews
I'm an author who has found the joy of creating art over the last five years. I've tried many types of art, from watercolours to ink sketches. Looking back, it was probably a little ambitious of me, as I hadn't drawn much since secondary school! I then went back to basics and started using graphite pencils, and decided to learn to draw properly. I don't have any formal experience, but I love drawing. It relaxes me, and I can lose myself for a couple of hours with a sketchbook and pencil.
My weakness now is art books! There are so many out there, from drawing for beginners to anatomy for artists, to watercolour techniques and digital drawing. So I thought I would do a series of articles reviewing the books I've bought, including flip-throughs here on YouTube, and what my experience has been as a (very) amateur artist.
