International Reggae Day (#IRD) is the annual global celebration of Jamaican music culture and its worldwide influence. #IRD is commemorated each year on #JulyOne. The programme is anchored in Kingston - Home of Jamaican music. #IRD2020 was driven by a 24Hr global broadcast event - a first in Reggae music - and there were satellites events and activities staged around the world. #IRD is the brainchild of Founder and Producer, Andrea M. Davis. #IRD was first held in 1994.
