This channel is an archive of vintage elevator videos made between 2016 and 2020 by a teenager from Zagreb, Croatia. The videos are mostly raw, unedited and unprofessional. Many of the elevators featured on the channel are no longer operational, and many of them have since been modernized. The videos can, and will continue to be a historic document and a glimpse into the curious design and simple engineering of the past. They are also a window into the everyday life of citizens that live in old buildings, surrounded with the same walls as their ancestors, with furniture and carpentry touched by so many hands through the years. Standing every day on the worn floor of the wooden elevators so creaky and odorous that they seem to have a soul of their own.
