SV Miette
We are a couple from Portland Oregon, sailing from the Pacific Northwest down the west coast, through the Panama canal, and currently exploring the Caribbean Sea.
Unless noted otherwise, all the music you hear was created onboard, either original compositions or original arrangements of classical music.
"Miette" is a 1990 Island Packet 32, a full keel, cutter-rigged sloop. The name "Miette" comes from the young heroine of a French 1995 film “City of Lost Children” directed by Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and in French, means something like "little cake crumb".
Our goal is to explore the world with a light footprint and share the journey through these videos. If you would like to tip us, click the Patreon link, or Venmo ([email protected] or @ERIC_PRADO) - we are most grateful for the wind you put in our sails!
Thank you for watching!
