As a classic rock musicologist, I've been commenting about classic rock since the early 70's. I've also been an amateur musician who's played in bars and clubs. But my passion since 1973 has been purchasing and listening to great music, and cataloging them in my archives. My database shows when every purchase was made as well as my choices of best albums of the year, awarded in that actual year. I also have archives of thousands of articles, magazines, concert reviews and ticket stubs, beyond my CD's, Vinyl and Laserdiscs/DVD's. This creates my personal history of rock which I hope will be of interest to others. If anything, it's kind of unique. I also collect and watch LaserDiscs and have always been a horror movie fanatic.
