MedChi Museum and Archives

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical celebrates 225 years of service in 2024. Located in a historic building in Baltimore's Mount Vernon neighborhood, MedChi is home to more than 55,000 books; numerous portraits, some dating back to the late 1700s; antique medical equipment; and even a ghost. We have recently opened the MedChi Museum of Maryland Medical History, visits by appointment only.
