Yoann Bourgeois is an artistic director, choreographer, acrobat, set designer and film director, coming from the circus arts.
He imagines original physical devices that manifest in a spectacular way our interactions with the environment. His acrobatic language, on the edge between dance and architecture is radically poetic.
His universe of work is the product of a lifelong, permanent creative process that he sums up as “The unreachable suspension point”.
Dedicated to art that is radically multidisciplinary, physical and innovative, Yoann Bourgeois oversees performances, collaborations and workshops in all parts of the world with his “Yoann Bourgeois Art Company”. His creations rely on site-specific creations that build upon the energy and specific particularities of the surrounding environment.
