Since 2008, Fresh Approach has been fostering connections between farmers & communities!

A Bay Area-based non-profit, Fresh Approach addresses the health disparities associated with limited access to fresh produce, boosts the financial success of local growers, and reduces the impact of industrial agriculture by:
*Operating mobile & traditional farmers’ markets with fruit & veggie incentive programs
*Offering nutrition classes with farmers’ market vouchers, and cooking demonstrations featuring culturally-relevant recipes
*Facilitating gardening workshops, community compost hubs, and rain garden installations
*Providing career, skill building, and leadership training opportunities through paid ambassadorships
*Coordinating statewide emergency food box distribution with local food hubs and small family farms
