Three O'clock Big Band - Dunedin, FL
The Three O’clock Big Band is a full 18-piece big band, with 13 horns, four rhythm section members, and a vocalist, based in Dunedin, Florida.
We cover the music that shaped life and culture in 20th Century America. Our musical selections include hits by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, and Michael Buble, and many others. You may hear hits from the classic big band era of the 1930s and 40s, followed by hits from Ray Charles, Diana Ross and The Supremes, and other popular artists of the 1960s and 70s.
The Three O’Clock Big Band was formed in the early 2000s by Frank Parsons, and later led by U.S. Air Force Band veterans Ed Geimer and Bob Springer. The band is currently led by big band veteran Greg Howard. Greg has performed with and led big bands and jazz combos across a varied musical career and is proud to continue the great traditions of big band music with his friends in the Three O’Clock Band.
