MeenaBagh Farms

MeenaBagh Farms is an experimental eco project in India’s high altitude region in Himachal Pradesh, India where we learn to grow food organically and sustainably loosely on the lines of Permaculture.
At an altitude of 8100 feet (2500mts) we are one of the most diverse farms in India with over 8 species of farm animals. (The farm animals include sheep, cats, chicken, ducks, fish, rabbits and the loveable dog Beswa.
MeenaBagh Farm grows over 10 varieties of cherries, apricots, apples, pears, nectarines, peaches and plums. Interspersed with the fruit trees are nitrogen fixers including, Sea Buckthorn, Bayberry, Autumn Olive, Rubinia and Alder.
We also grow many varieties of berries including Blackberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Strawberries. Among the vines we grow are Kiwi and Grapes.
Farm to Table is in place too with the annual vegetables catering to the 6-bedroom Farmstay Meena Bagh Homes. (https://meenabaghhomes.com)
