MODEC, Inc., headquartered in Japan, is an owner, operator and EPCI general contractor of floating production systems including Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) units, Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNGs), Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs), Semi-Submersibles. MODEC has developed a Floating Storage Regasification Water-Desalination & Power-Generation (FSRWP®) concept with a mission to utilize its accumulated operational and design experience in floating production systems and the increasingly available of LNG to bring clean Power and Water on an IPP, EPCI, BOO or BOOT basis.
