福爾摩沙合唱團Formosa Singers

Founded in 1994 by Julian Ching-Chun Su, Formosa Singers is one of the most active and internationally recognized choirs in Taiwan.
In the interest of exploring diverse music styles, Formosa Singers has been inviting internationally renowned conductors since 1997, including such prestigious conductors as Joseph Flummerfelt, Anton Armstrong, Maria Guinand, William Dehning, Martin Behrmann, Stephen Leek, Gary Graden, Jonathan Velasco, Jo-Michael Scheibe, Nobuaki Tanaka, Ko Matsushita, Tsutomu Ota, Heechurl Kim, KISS Katalin, and Thomas Caplin. In addition, some of the most renowned composers, including Japanese composer Ko Matsushita, Australian composer Stephen Leek, and Philippino composer Francisco F. Feliciano, have all set various Taiwanese folksongs in arrangements for choir and have dedicated these to the Formosa Singers.

成立於1994年的福爾摩沙合唱團為台灣最活躍的合唱團隊。由留美合唱指揮蘇慶俊教授,於1994年回國後創團並擔任藝術總監,以推廣優質台灣合唱音樂、追求精緻化合唱藝術為成立宗旨。二十多年來的努力經營,廣獲國內外各界好評。
