Essex “EssexOGS” OGS-ONT
The Essex County OGS is a branch of The Ontario Genealogical Society. We are a group of volunteers devoted to promoting family history research at any level. We are active in researching our own family histories and sharing what we've learned along our journey. We hold ten public presentation meetings a year on topics related to genealogy research in the Essex County area, to share information of interest to family historians, and other topics that help provide a context to complement family history research.
In 2014 we began video recording these presentations for the benefit of our members who are unable to attend in person and have since transitioned to streaming online. Be sure to check back often for new videos or live streams.
A schedule of our upcoming presentations is on the meetings page of our website: https://essex.ogs.on.ca/meetings
