Fairness for Children Raised By Relatives
Fairness for Children Raised by Relatives Society advocates for children in British Columbia who would otherwise be in foster care if not for grandparents or other relatives stepping up to care for them.
We work to ensure kinship caregivers and the children they raise have the same rights, opportunities, and supports as all children in care. Through lived experience, advocacy, and education, we aim to reform BC’s child welfare system to recognize and support the families keeping children safe, stable, and connected to kin.
