The Centre for Stem Cell Research (CSCR) is a premier institute at the forefront of stem cell science and regenerative medicine in India. Located at the Christian Medical College (CMC), Bagayam Campus, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, CSCR is a unit of the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), Bengaluru, and is supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.
Established with the vision of translating cutting-edge research into clinical solutions, CSCR serves as a unique model for combining basic biological research with translational and clinical applications, particularly in the area of genetic and degenerative disorders.
