Senior Pastor Nate Cate has been a part of Calvary Chapel since he was 12. He went on a mission trip at 13 years old that had a profound impact on his life. At 18 he married his wife, Danielle. Nate came back to his focus on Jesus and the ministry. At 21 Nate and his family were sent out to Brazil as missionaries. He served for 15 years in Brazil and planted two churches and ran a Bible College there for 7 years. Today, Nate, Dani and their 10 children have moved back to the states to pastor Calvary Chapel Vallejo. As this body of believers enters its fourth year at Calvary Chapel Vallejo, God continues to lead us in new directions and is pouring out a fresh vision, and we know He will continue to faithfully shepherd and minister to this flock.
