Chesapeake Marine Training Institute is a full time training facility providing US Coast Guard approved courses for merchant mariners. Founded in 1992 CMTI has continued to grow. We occupy over 8,000 square feet in our modern training facility on US Route 17, just four miles north of Yorktown, in Hayes, Virginia. We are open 52 weeks of the year!
