Red Dutchess Farm

We are homesteading on a 65 acre farm in the middle of the Shawnee National Forest in the southern tip of Illinois. It seems to be an ever growing list, but currently alpacas, horses, a milk cow and calf, chickens, guinea fowl, a sheep, pet pigs, dogs and cats are the animals on the farm. Our gardens are around two acres plus a young orchard, various berries and many other annual and perennial plants. A commercial greenhouse, doing all of the spring crop items including flowering and garden bedding plants, hanging baskets, pots and containers, keeps us extremely busy from late January through May.
