A History of C17th Jackets, ft. Lots of Embroidery, a Detour to Holland, and Ladies on Horseback!

Since I'm currently embroidering my own early 17th Century Jacket, I though it might be interesting to have a closer look at how they evolved, and where they were worn! This is by no means a comprehensive history of the garment, but hopefully it'll serve as some sort of introduction.
