Etch Loops: Show Featured Image or Post Title Using Conditional Logic

In this video, I walk through a simple, real-world example of using conditional logic inside an Etch loop.

A question came up in the Etch community about how to display either a post’s featured image (thumbnail) or the post title when looping through posts — especially when some posts have images and others don’t.

To demonstrate, I:

Create a basic loop for a Business custom post type
Use no styling, just clean functionality
Show how to wrap elements in Etch conditions
Handle posts with and without featured images
Explain why checking for an empty image URL works reliably
The result:
Posts with a featured image show the image
Posts without a featured image automatically fall back to the post title
