I got this engine from the same dear friend as my D20
(see the video here: • Wilesco D20 Stationary Engine )
Initially he sent me the engine for repair. It had some shortcomings and didn't run well. I repaired it and when I signalised that it's ready for return he generously told me to keep it as 'a permanent loan' ... :)
Since I have no boiler for the D48 my D20 had to provide steam for the test run. And it did! The boiler delivered ample steam for both engines, D48 and D20!
