DID YOU KNOW? To Chant Shri Ram Ram Rameti Mantra once is equal to chanting the name of Rama a thousand times. This mantra is known as the Taraka Mantra.

सहस्रनाम तत्तुल्यं, रामनाम वरानने ॥

Meaning of this Mantra :-
This mantra, given in the Ram Rakshastotra of Lord Shri Ram, which is a great mantra, has been recited and is wonderful in itself. Only the word Ram of Lord Shri Ram is sufficient in itself, that he can rule the whole universe, so this mantra is a great mantra, you have to chant it and it is the name of Ram itself which is equal to the song of Vishnu Sahasranamam. Therefore, the fruit obtained by chanting hundreds of thousands of Vishnu Sahasranamam is obtained by chanting this mantra.

Sri Rama Rama Rameti, chanting his name over and over again, I found happiness in Lord Rama, he enlightened me and his face was a blessing. I found happiness by chanting the name of Lord Rama. Parama Siva said that chanting the holy name “SRI RAMA” would benefit from chanting all the thousands of names of Lord Srihari.

Rama Mantra – sloka of Sri Rama Rama Rameti (the part taken from Vishnu Sahasranamam Stotram), when repeated, gives the same effect as reading the entire Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra. Texts of Sri Rama Rama Rameti (Sloka) one such mantra that you can chant in search of Lord Rama’s blessings is Ram Raksha Stotra.

Rama or Ram, also known as Ramacandra, is the name of Purushotama who took an avatar in Treta-yuga. Rama is considered a maryada purushottama or the best protector of the Dharma. Goddess Parvati asked Lord Shiva about a sloka that can be easily read and that it is the same as Sahasranamam.
