Our Cape York road trip kicks off! We leave Brisbane and drive as far north as we can, stopping in Bowen for some quick sightseeing and to check out the beach — but with crocs, jellyfish, and other beachgoers in the water, we’re not sure if it’s safe to swim! 🐊🏖️

From there, we push on to Townsville, where we stay at a super cute Hipcamp — and of course, what’s a big Aussie road trip without a bit of car trouble already?! 😅
