Sometimes fixing is about diagnosing a problem...analyzing and testing...determining the source of a problem. But sometimes the problem is fairly obvious. You can see it. You just need to do the fix. But that isn't always easy either. Today's video is about a Roland TD-27 electronic drum module that had damaged USB ports. The problem was fairly obvious but fixing and testing it still took some skill, care and attention. In this video I talk about and demonstrate some de-soldering and soldering. I also give some background on USB connectors. Enjoy!
