The battle for first place in an all-comers race at Festival Italia was held between a 1982 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV6 and a 2007 Ferrari F430GT3. This battle raged on for 15 of the 18 laps when the Ferrari on a charge to overtake took a brief visit to the gravel and as a result dropped back to 8 seconds behind the Alfa at the finish.
The competition comprised of the Following 20 cars.
