Negotiable Instrument is a legal document that can be transferred from one person to another.
The term 'Negotiable' means "transferable". Section 13 of the Act includes 3 documents as Negotiable Instrument:
1. Promissory Note (Section 4)
2. Bill of Exchange (Section 5)
3. Cheque (Section 6)
