In this special episode of Shahji 2.0, we take you to a sacred yet forgotten part of Sikh history — the Gurdwara Aarti Sahib, located in Puri, Odisha.
🛕 It is believed that Guru Nanak Dev Ji himself visited this place and recited the divine Aarti here. This is where the powerful "Dhoop Deep Malaan" Aarti Sahib was spoken — surrounded by the sound of the ocean and the spirit of eternal light.
But today, this spiritual site stands in silence.
🙁 There are no Sikh families or Sangat within a 63 km radius. Just a few sewadars quietly maintaining this historic shrine. There are two more Gurdwaras in the area — one is in a state of ruin, and another is under legal dispute, not yet under the management of the Sikh committee.
🧘♂️ Despite all this, the peace you will feel here is magical. The vibrations of Guru Sahib’s visit still live in the air. You can feel it in your heart.
