Similar in operation to its larger sibling Easifill, Vacufill offers fantastic performance in a compact package. The chassis uses a polished stainless-steel cabinet as a sturdy base with the high-quality pharmaceutical finish expected by Universal’s clients.

Vacuum filling is suitable for filling a wide range of free-flowing liquids (perfumes, wines, spirits, oils and solvents) into rigid containers (glass, tin, ceramics and rigid plastics). The Vacufill liquid filling machine fills to a set height from the neck of the bottle down regardless of volume of the bottle, making it particularly well suited to filling into glass, where tolerances and variation can be large.

Unlike a volumetric filling machine, this vacuum level filling machine does not use a piston to displace a specific volume of liquid. Vacuum level filling creates an airtight seal around the neck of the botte and a vacuum within it to draw liquid through the filling nozzle, into the bottle. The nozzle has a smaller diameter tube within it which draws away excess liquid once the desired filling height has been reached.

The machine simply requires a supply of compressed air to operate its on-board vacuum inducer, or, alternatively, an electric vacuum pump may be used if compressed air is not available.

The filling process is simplicity itself, position the bottle under the nozzle and onto the bottle support. Once an airtight seal is created, the vacuum will start to draw liquid into the bottle. As soon as the filling process stops, just remove the bottle. On multi-headed vacuum level filling machines, individual bottles can be positioned an removed as they are filled, so a bottle on nozzle no.1 can be removed and replaced while nozzle no.2 is still filling. This creates a highly productive process.
