after 9 years, the rubber on the tailgate latch is deforming and feels sticky. We bought the wrong part but still manage to complete the fix
Edit: I got questions why the part didn't fit it's because this part is meant for 4runner (part# 84840-35010). I couldn't find if Toyota is selling just the switch by itself. All I could find was the whole switch and handle housing which will need to be painted to match. Toyota wants $180+ tax for that so this.
