2025: A YEAR OF GROWTH, UNITY, AND PURPOSE

Dear Team,

As we step into 2025, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible journey we shared over the past year. Together, as one team with a unified purpose, we have made great strides, and I am inspired by the passion and dedication each of you brings to this collective mission.

Every day is a new beginning—a fresh chance to set goals, embrace opportunities, and strive to be better. Growth and transformation don’t have to wait for the 1st of January. Each day presents us with a canvas to paint a brighter future.

It fills me with immense pride and joy to see our team, colleagues, and staff working toward their dreams. It is both my honor and my responsibility to support you in achieving your aspirations, wherever and however possible. My hope is that Lyceum will continue to grow in its capacity to empower its people—students and staff alike—to reach even greater heights.

I firmly believe there is no reason why every member of our team should not achieve their goals and receive the happiness they truly deserve. My genuine thoughts and wishes for you are simple yet powerful: let us live as a community that uplifts, supports, and celebrates each other.

Let us adopt practices and values that enrich our lives. Let us avoid debt, heal rather than harm, and be generous in helping others. Let us rid ourselves of jealousy and instead find joy in the growth and success of our colleagues, family, and friends. Let us bless one another—both in our thoughts and in our actions—and embrace a mindset of abundance and gratitude.

As we embark on this transformative journey, my vision is for Lyceum Global Holdings to become the pinnacle of community and living—a national asset that serves as an ecosystem of joy, collaboration, and shared values. Let every leader and team member exemplify these values in their daily actions. Let us build a community where every individual is “ours,” and we take pride in and responsibility for their well-being.

Together, we can make this vision a reality—not just by training our team in work-related skills, but by educating them about life, purpose, and, most importantly, self-awareness. To truly master life, we must first master ourselves. Our bodies are temporary vessels; let us understand and harness their potential to live joyfully and succeed in all endeavors.

My hope and prayer for each of you is simple: let go of the burdens of yesterday and the uncertainties of tomorrow. Embrace the present moment with gratitude and joy, for it is the only space where life truly happens.

The Lyceum Family: A Collective Force of 50,000

We are a family—24,000 students, 4,000 staff, and 34,000 parents—interconnected and interdependent. Together, we are a powerful community of 50,000, united by shared purpose and values. You are never alone; you are part of this larger body, and we will continue to support and uplift each other.

While we may not singlehandedly transform our nation in our lifetime, the children we nurture and the values we instill can. Each year, nearly 2,000 graduates step out of Lyceum’s gates. If we send them into the world as individuals filled with love for their nation and a commitment to make a difference, we will have rendered the greatest service to Sri Lanka and the world.

This is my challenge to you: SRI LANKA IS IN YOUR HANDS. THE PLANET IS IN YOUR HANDS.
