Ebay unboxing a Moore & wright oak machinist tool box What will i find ?

Moore and wright oak machinist tool chest now restored!    • Restoration adventure! Moore and wright to...   with four drawers will it be a restoration or a restyle project i am going to throw this out and ask you to make suggestions on what happens to this very original condition chest.It has a very worn through broken top carrying handle worn out from daily use in a busy engineering workshop we have a few clues in that a very old 4 digit phone number is present on the rear of one of the drawers and the words "Prospect" could this be an engineering factory?
I think this box is from the 1940s- 50s it has a teriffic amount of wear and patina from spending it's working ife in a busy factory, indentations in the fabric drawer liners shows that tools were put back in the same position time after time. it has small plated steel corner protectors typical of the moore and wright styling, the draw handles or pulls are bakelite with a mother of pearl insert. The lining looks like it was black corduroy fabric these a very oily! but i would like to preserve them! The pull out front cover though has some degree of wear and tear with spark burns, tears but still hanging in there!A thick layer of varnish covers and has protected the original patina hand prints etc luckily the owner did no preperation it seems!Let me know your suggestions about what you would like to see me do in either faithful restoration or something a little different i will read all the comments and ask that peolpe thumbs up thier preferred choice!Have fun and i'm looking forward to doing something thats a bit more interactive.So please enjoy and let me know before a blow is struck!
