--- My Christmas Floral Recipe ---
This could be used as the centerpiece(s) of a dining table, styled on a console table, coffee table or anywhere you want a pop of variety amongst the rest of your Christmas greenery. I used faux flowers all from Hobby Lobby for the sake of the video. But feel free to use real flowers too and otherwise make it your own!

Cut out a small strip of chicken wire with your wire cutters and form a small orb that will fit snuggly in the rim of your vase or compote bowl. Then secure that shape with floral wire and place in your vase. If done correctly, you shouldn’t need to attach the chicken wire to your vase or bowl as it will hold itself in with pressure. (This is a fabulous replacement for floral foam - better for the environment & easier to arrange with!!)

Then start by sticking in your greenery to the holes of the chicken wire to form the base for your arrangement. It is important that each stem feels locked in place and secure. Note: I prefer for the greenery to spill over the sides and generally create a shape which is wider than it is tall (especially for table arrangements).

Then add in your flowers. Add them in by type and starting with your largest flowers first. At the end, save some stems that can more randomly and naturally stick out higher than the rest to give the arrangement a bit more of a sculpted look. (If you are using faux flowers, make sure to bend, twist and fluff them before placing them. If you don’t the arrangement won’t look natural.)
