How to get there -
On Saturday and Sunday, trains depart from Shalimar station in Howrah for Pendra Road, the nearest station to Amarkantak, which you can also get from Santragachi. On Saturday, you will get Bhuj Express which departs at 8:05 PM and on Sunday, Udaipur City Superfast also departs at 8:05 PM. These two trains arrive at Pendra Road approximately the next day by 9:00 AM. And from Pendra Road to Amarkantak, it is a total of 35 kilometers. From Pendra Road, you can book a shared taxi or a car to reach Amarkantak. The maximum cost of a shared taxi is 150 to 200 rupees per person.
