This video shows me removing the lower control arm, replacing the ball joints and re-installing the assembly on my 1986 Z31 300ZX Turbo. The brakes and struts are already removed and this process is covered in other videos here on this channel.
Tools required:
22mm socket and wrench
17mm socket
Ball joint press tool
Needle nose pliers (for split pin)
Torque values:
Control arm to Rail 69-83 ft/lbs
Tension (or trailing) Rod to control arm 31-40 ft/lbs
Sway bar drop link 12-16 ft/lbs
