recording in St. Leodegar in Niederehe, Eifel region, Germany with Hans-André Stamm at the Balthasar König organ from 1714. The original string unisono accompaniment has been created with sampler sounds and added to the organ variations on an ostinato theme, which is based on the chord sequence which was later named "Pachelbel model", as it has become famous through Pachelbel's canon.
This recording is part of a project for “Neustart Kultur” under the motto ”Orgel einst und jetzt” (organ once and now) featuring the organ as the instrument of the year 2021.
