Battle of Patay 1429 AD - Joan of Arc and the Siege of Orleans - Hundred Years' War

The Battle of Patay was fought in 1429, in medieval France, during the Hundred Years' War. After breaking the Siege of Orleans, with the help of the Maiden, Joan of Arc, the English army began retreating towards Paris and the French army set off in pursuit. By June 18, the French caught up to them and the two armies clashed at an intersection, near the village of Patay.

This video was produced using the PC game, Mount & Blade Warband, developed by TaleWorlds Entertainment, and sound effects from Medieval II Total War, by the Creative Assembly. Battle map animations were made in MS paint and Windows movie maker. Gameplay recordings captured with MSI Afterburner.
