Played before the senior final of that year it featured a number of stars for the future: Killybegs had Manus Boyle, Barry McGowan, John & Barry Cunningham, Conor White and a number of others while Glenfin had the Marley brothers, Seamus Ward , Frank Ward, Joey McDermott and many more. Legendary manager Jimmy White was in charge of Killybegs and Jackie Furey was referee.
Master of ceremonies was Seamus De Faoite.
