Everyone was hooking up, but it wasn’t without a fight. In the first half of day one, the crew was greeted by multiple storms featuring waterspouts. The rain cooled down the boat, but the bite was slow to start.

Halfway through the day, the sun broke through the clouds, bringing the heat to our rod tips. Suddenly, the bite was hot, and the boys were reeling in Yellow Eye Snapper one after another, with vermilion snappers and a few groupers in between, allowing them to bring back a sizable catch for their families and friends.
