The Watergate Cult| bite sized horror stories

At exactly 7 o'clock at night, local police intercepted an emergency call, a man was panicked and ranting about a blue-faced plant woman coming to kill him. the Call was terminated abruptly and I dispatched three agent recon units, but at exactly 8 o'clock those same three agents were recovered surgically dismembered; clean as a damned autopsy, they didn't even get the chance to defend themselves.
On camera the blue skinned woman slid through three trained agents like they were paper dolls with no hesitation, then she looked right at the damned camera Calm and collected. I had to Spend the next twelve hours poring over every frame until I finally tracked down our mystery caller, turns out he was last seen at The Late Shack bar down on Maplebank. Fortunately he wasn't drinking alone either, his date was the same blue-skinned woman with her skin in makeup; a few background checks later and I had Identified her as an employee at a Slaughterhouse. At midnight the company's delivery truck arrived and out stepped our blue skinned friend emerging from the truck, she was quick to open the rear door revealing a chained line-up of women all silent.
I could have barged in right there but I do recognize my limits. So I had to bring in Senior agent Hensley, mostly for his work with the Kraken's case in 81. It Took him a few days, but he managed to get close enough to bait her into an ambush with the C.O.N.D.; not without casualties. We immediately took her into interrogation, but when I got to questioning she started just laughing hysterically,
she screamed Gloria Monarch over and over before she smashed her brains into a pulp right there in front of me with one swift motion; took weeks to get her green blood out of the interrogation room. I thought we'd blown our only chance but Hensley reminded me we had her blood and with his special access to an illusion-class artifact ring from the A.R.T.D.,
Hensley was able to disguise himself with a live audio feed; turns out this whole damned operation was about identifying a potential vessel for the one who they call the Golden Truth Liar; as for the reason for all those sacrifices, it was to build an army to prepare for the grandson, it's unknown how long they've been searching for this grandson but from the live feed they prophesied; for when the Morsdomi tear opens, he shall be returned to the world, for his blood carries a Zephyr that burns the kin of those born to white sands. It was unclear at the time what this meant, but what I heard from Hensley's radio shook me to my core, the Unknown Sigil, the same one that was triggered at the exact second Aureflorisa died in 1970; same Sigil linked to the ritualistically killings of the rangers in 1982.
Hensley barely made it back practically screaming something I’d already figured out, we've been duped, they've been ahead this entire damned time and we still don't know why. Its been a few weeks but Hensley and I managed to find the connection between the sigil and the Watergate cult through the old CCTV footage, the sigil seemed to be originally carved by a man in red robes using his bone exposed finger; stating the fact that we already know that all Watergate Cult members are female. they've already found their vessel since 1970 on the day of Aureflorisa’s death, they’re were ahead of us by two decades and we've only just now realized it;
And that damned blue-skinned woman was making sure we were following the right bread crumbs. But it just hit me and agent Hensley at the same time, the purpose of the Watergate cult was to stop the grandson; for when the Morsdomi tear opens, he shall be returned to the world, for his blood carries a Zephyr that burns the kin of those born to white sands. The blue women were on the hunt to kill the grandson and they needed Zephyrfields to track their trail at this exact moment, but that part, I couldn't figure out; but agent Hensley knew exactly why the blue women were hunting the grandson.
Agent Hensley explained to me that the grandson of Milo Zephyr was thought to be killed during the first Zephyrfields war when the Kraken's keepers nearly opened the gates of Morsdomi. When agent Hensley was granted access to Zephyrfields Medieval codecs for the case in 81, he learn Milo's grandson was spotted by witnesses to have been devoured by a purple light, but Hensley's gut knew from his case in 81; that if the Kraken's keepers needed a sacrifice to rebirth a new keeper, it can only mean one thing, both cults are preparing for the grandson of Milo Zephyr.
if we don't catch up fast; the Watergate cult and the Kraken's keepers are gonna deny Zephyrfields the one weapon we always believed to be lost when Milo Zephyr fell: the only weapon we had left that can burn the kin of those born to white sands, and I'll be damned if I let that happen. It's time to call an emergency conference with all boards from the S.C.I.D., C.O.N.D., A.R.T.D., I.V.N.D.
