Here is another Grab Bag Thursday album! Today's is an overlooked LP by Bobby Nunn, two tracks from this album ("She's Just A Groupie" and "Got To Get Up On It") having gotten a lot of local airplay. Nunn played most of the instruments on the album (keyboards, bass) and sang all the vocals, with his brother Billy Nunn Jr. playing additional keyboards and Michael White on drums. Notable is one of the engineers, Russ Terrana, twin brother of Ralph Terrana who co-founded Tera Shirma Studios in Detroit decades ago.
Apologies for the quality of the vinyl--Motown's pressings in the 80s left a lot to be desired.
