[4K] Chasing Lake State Railway Z127 from Flint to Wixom 3-20-21

Lake State Railway is a growing regional railroad on the East side of Michigan. They once again became the center of railfan attention in March after they acquired an auto loading business for GM. Among those railfans were Duncan and I. We set out on a sunny Saturday to chase Z127 on it's way from Flint to Wixom, with the newly added autoracks at the front of the train. The chase was a little on the difficult side. We missed them at a few of our planned spots, but also caught them at some unplanned ones. The growth in popularity that I mentioned before was definitely evident, as we saw several other video/photographers on the chase. The line south of Flint is certainly not a boring one, with winding curves and classic C&O searchlight signals making for some great shots. I will definitely return to film more Lake State in the future. Enjoy watching the SD40-2 pair work hard to pull their train over it's 40 mile route. Thanks again, and stay tuned for more videos!
