Golden, crispy, and full of flavor — this Persian-style macaroni takes pasta to a whole new level! 🍝
1. Chop 150g onion and sauté for about 10 minutes until golden.
2. Add 250g ground beef and cook until browned.
3. Stir in chopped mushrooms, carrots, and garlic along with your favorite spices (salt, pepper, turmeric, paprika, etc.) and sauté for a few more minutes.
4. Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and cook until the color deepens and the sauce becomes rich.
5. Boil your pasta until al dente, then drain it.
6. Mix the pasta with the sauce, then pour everything into a pot.
7. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 20–25 minutes, letting it steam until the bottom becomes beautifully crispy and golden — that’s the signature Persian tahdig!
