Mariachi Encendido is under the direction of Guadalupe and Fernando Gonzalez. This was one of seven groups to advance to the finals of the National Group Competition in the high school category.
The Mariachi Extravaganza is one of the largest and most important mariachi music festivals in the world. Over 1,000 mariachi musicians, educators, and aficionados gather in San Antonio, TX every year to be a part of competitions, workshops, and events hosted by the Extravaganza.
