Okay so now, I know one of the most popular dances that was created on the west coast is how to jerk. So I'm going to stand at an angle so you can see my feet better. So the first thing you want to do is you want to hop on the left leg. Hop on the left leg and you want to kick out with the right leg. Boom. Right? Now, you want to take the left leg and you want to hop forward, but at the same time, you want this right leg to go back. Boom. Good. Now, you gotta hop again, this right foot is going to come down, as it comes down, you're going to kick this left leg out, boom. So let's try this again. So you going to bring this back, and this leg is going to jump forward, and then you going to scoop under, boom, and hop again. Boom. and 1, and forward, and forward, and, forward. So let's try this again slow. So, you going to kick out the right leg, hop on it. Good. You wanna jump on the left leg, bring that forward. This leg is going to come back. Boom. then you going to plant this right foot and kick the left leg out. You wanna hop towards the front. Good. Upper body. Boom. Like you going ""unh"". Just a little bit - not a lot. Let's try this again. So, kick and 1, and 2, and 3, and 4, and 5, and 6 and 7 and 8. Good. Now that's done really slow, let's try and speed this up. 6, 7, 8 and 1, and 2, and 3, and 4 and 5, and 6 and 7 and 8. So, let me show you what it looks like with music. DJ, drop it on 'em. So let's try it slow. 5,6,7,8. Hop, back, hop, back, hop, back, same time. Boom. Two different things going on, so: 1,2,1,2,1,2, you gotta hop up, you gotta think up, you can't think down, so you can't go down, down, you gotta think up, and 6,7, and up and up and up and up.
