Knitting Chevron Stitch - How To Knit The Chevron Stitch

This is another must-have for your knitting stitches library. The Chevron Knitted Stitch Pattern is composed of diamond shapes and it’s an elegant and classing design. Follow along with tomorrow’s project The Knitted Chevron Infinity Cowl, knitted in the round.

/////Instructions:
Chevron Stitch (Knit) #1

Multiple of 14 plus 2

Use the needles that the yarn calls for or 1 number higher.

Cast on your stitches. (I used the long tail cast on).

k=knit

kf&b= knit the front and the back of the same stitch.

k2tog= knit 2 stitches together

sl1k1psso= slide 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1 stitch,

pass the slid stitch over the last one.

Repeat from * to *

Row 1.- and all Odd number rows: Purl

Row 2.- and all Even number rows:

knit 1, kf&b, k4, sl1k1psso, k2tog, k4, kf&b end with k1

Bind off on row 1, purlwise.
